We want to share with you some photos from the Universal Guide Day Celebration in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Due to the great distances, it was celebrated in three locations.
The Holy Spirit was present among us!!
Father Ignacio told us in Circular 26 that being a Guide is not just anything; your life has a sense of transcendence; it has a high destiny and a privileged vocation, a calling to “Love,” and to love in a thousand ways and manners. God is Love, Jesus is LOVE, The Holy Spirit is LOVE, the Gospel is love, The Prayer and Life Workshops are Love.
We want the community of GUIDES to be a united and happy family, carrying out in this world, a dual missionary task: to implant the living God in hearts and to fill human loneliness with a loving presence, opening a fountain of gladness and pouring joy and peace throughout the world.
We, the Guides, cannot do this alone. Behind us, and with anonymous heroism, are our families, parents, husbands and wives, children, friends… to whom we also wanted to express from the bottom of our hearts our admiration and gratitude because they support and accompany us in the silence from their homes, in the harmonious march of that small kingdom of love.
That is why we also invited them to spend a different afternoon, full of joy, dance, and surprises, and so it was. A real party!
