The National Coordination of Slovenia has celebrated the ANNUAL RETREAT FOR THE GUIDES of Slovenia in the monastery of the Capuchin brothers Vipavski Križ 8.on October 9th, 2023 and Kančevci 3. on November 5th, 2023
“Mary “is” the unconditional and universal YES of the will of the Father, that, in her simplicity and poverty, received the Word thereby enriching all of humanity.”
A large group of Guides lived this retreat in prayer and silence, knowing and delving into the image of Mary as a mother, a beautiful woman of faith and silence, resolute and master of herself, all full of grace and sensitivity, in complete control of her nerves, taking risks and saying her “Thy will be done”
Days intensively lived have helped the Guides reflect on Mary’s life, her devotion to the Father and His will.
A Guide shared: In her humility and faithfulness we discovered HER greatness as a Mother who brought Jesus into the world. She also teaches us how to bring Jesus into our day, into our time, so that her Son can build the Kingdom of Heaven among us.
Another Guide said: Mary is peace and consolation at every moment. That is why we ask her in prayer to guide us, accompany us, lead us and protect us on our life’s journey.
