On Sunday, September 28, 2025, an online meeting took place via the Zoom platform with nearly 300 guides from around the world.The International Coordination convened this meeting with one objective: to discuss the service this association offers to the universe of young people, to examine the most effective promotional methods, the groups of young people to whom we can offer our service, as well as the needs and concerns observed in them and the results we are obtaining in this mission.
The Young Adult/Adolescent/Children Guideswere able to express, through this meeting, their experiences with young people in the Prayer and Life Workshops (PLW), thus helping to focus the present and future of our service.
Also, the Prefect of the Dicastery for the Laity, Family, and Life, Cardinal Farrell, encouraged us, in his letter of October 10, 2023, to approach young people with audacity and train them to be apostles to other young people.
They have a silent need and plea to seek and find the meaning of their lives. And we have much to offer them through the spirituality of PLW. In the words of Father Ignacio: “The main beam of the Young Adult Workshop is the vibrant announcement of the inexhaustible personality of Our Lord Jesus Christ, so that young people may be fascinated by Him and decide to follow in His footsteps; and thus, become disciples and witnesses of Christ Jesus” (Manual: In Search of a Treasure).
