In the spirit of the Lenten Time and united in communion with the Church on this journey of conversion and preparation for Easter, the Prayer and Life Workshops offered a one-day Retreat based on the book “TRANSFIGURATION” of Father Ignacio Larrañaga.
The Lord called us to a personal, exclusive, true, and transforming encounter. His grace touched us especially during this Lenten journey, for He knows our desires to improve and to transcend our own limitations.
The Retreat took place on March 21, 2026, at the Parish of Saint Anthony-Boa Vista, in the city of Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil. It was conducted by Guide Vanda Maria Hansen, of the Local Coordination Curitiba 5, which is part of National Brazil West 13, within the Brazil West Zone. There were 55 participants, of whom 50 were not Guides.

“I thank God for being able to participate with all of you in this wonderful Retreat. I also thank Him for having chosen and inspired the hearts of Vanda, her husband, and the entire organizing team to carry out this event full of sharing, deep study, a lot of meditation, prayer, introspecton and deep contact with Our Lord Jesus Christ, through the evangelization style of Father Ignacio Larrañaga.
I had the grace to attend a Prayer and Life Workshop in August 2025, finishing in November 2025, and it is a wonderful, very beneficial, and transforming experience. I liked it so much that I want to do it again, as the Workshop is very rich in content, as it also is the small book Transfiguration.
