The National Coordination of Brazil Center 9, a member of the Brazil Center Zone, experienced an Evangelization Work Day on October 26, 2023: “Methodology to apply a session.”It was held at the Semillas del Verbo Retreat House, in Palmas, state of Tocantins, applied to more than 60 Guides, in person and online simultaneously, by Spirit Animator Maristella Carvalho, an active Guide at 91 years of age. , who with motherly tenderness and missionary ardor enriched us with teachings that stimulated us to live with fidelity and love the content of the Prayer and Life Workshops. Everything is transmitted in a simple, objective and practical way, making us relive our first dips into TOV Spirituality.The opportunity to attend online was also brought to the Guides of the other NBC9 Local Coordinations, in the states of Tocantins and Pará.
On this Day we felt the fire of the Holy Spirit that warmed our hearts and inspired us to bring to our brothers, more and more, the message transmitted through our work in the Workshops. The Guides were convinced that a Prayer and Life Workshop well lived and applied is one that makes transformations in the lives of the workshop participants.

How wonderful! 47 Brother and sister Guides, from the National Coordination of Brazil Center 9, member of the Brazil Center Zone, from 10/27 to 29/2023, Coordinated by CL PALMAS 5, were encouraged by Guide Maristella Carvalho, at the Semillas Retreat House of the Word, in Palmas, state of Tocantins, and were impacted by the Love of God, living the 6th Retreat: TOWARDS A DEEP ENCOUNTER.
We arrived tired, agitated and the Lord reinvigorated all our strength, enlightened us and calmed our hearts.
A Sister Guide told us: I have been a Guide for 20 years and I have already lived this Retreat “Towards A Deep Encounter” and also all the others, but for me everything was new, enchanting and the loving presence of God. I dwelled on the details, on the talks and prayers of the night and morning, I was careful to write down as much as possible, to relive, savor and imaginatively return to the scenes with the attention, affection that my heart and soul need to ABSORB to internalize in me, within me, the contents, emotions and tenderness experienced. In this retreat I traveled within myself, I experienced peace and love.
The silence, the place, being in front of the Blessed Sacrament, the people, the talks, everything transmitted to me the loving presence of God.
The Holy Spirit was present and so was Father Ignacio.
The faith, love and spiritual maturity with the tenderness of a mother, elegant and simple of MARY was there, in the person of the retreat leader Maristella Carvalho, and for me to see her, to hear her, was a great joy. So much serenity, wisdom, softness, generosity in transmitting the content, in acting, left me convinced of how precious is the pilgrimage of the life of a Guide who, with his fidelity and dedication to God, prayer, and the Mission, becomes a example of maturity in faith, of a lifestyle that imprints on the heart, life and soul of the brothers, the indelible mark of the love and perfume of God.
