“YOU ARE THE NOW OF GOD”
God counts on us now. He pours out His graces now and for our part we need to be available to go on Mission wherever He desires.
After a year and a half visiting the Local Coordinations and Nuclei, the National Coordination of Brazil West 10, which is part of the Brazil West Zone, decided as a team to bring the Youth Diffusion to the Guides that took place on September 30, 2023. , from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., in the Our Lady Aparecida Chapel, in the Aquarius neighborhood, in São José dos Campos, state of São Paulo, Brazil.
The theme of this Young Diffusion was: “YOU ARE GOD’S NOW”.
The main objective of the Youth Diffusion was to make the Guides aware of the heritage left by Father Ignacio for Young People, Adolescents, Boys and Girls, to know and become aware of the rules established by the Dicastery and by the International Coordination of Workshops, as well as sharing experiences in these TOV services, talks to raise awareness of the Mission and stimulating Father Ignacio’s Golden Dream: fraternity
In summary:
- Know the TOV Material for Young People/Adolescents and Evangelizing Girls and Boys.
- Share experiences.
- Raise awareness among the Guides about the importance of reaching these groups to deliver Christians passionate about Jesus to society.
- Think about the future of Prayer and Life Workshops, also dedicating themselves to the TOV Youth, Adolescent and Evangelizing Boys and Girls services.
- Live the Fraternity.
They were invited as speakers and to share experiences:
-Teresa and Claudio – Santo André Guides 3 – NBO 2 – Talk Topic: “Here I am. You called me”. (1 Samuel 3, 8)
-Mónica – Indaiatuba Guide – NBO 5 – Talk Topic:
“Dare to be more.”
It was a Saturday of great joy, songs, games and important content, with the purpose of strengthening the YES of each Guide and encouraging them to serve in the TOV services already mentioned, so that they can deliver to the Church and society Christians committed to following the steps of Jesus.
53 Guides were present, belonging to the following Local Coordinations and Nuclei: Cruzeiro, Pindamonhangaba, Taubaté, São José dos Campos 1, 2 and 3, Jacareí, Ubatuba, São Paulo, Santo André and Indaiatuba. Core: Cunha.
