THE QUIET MUSIC

To enter, in true adoration we need to have previously achieved two conditions: First, isolate myself by silencing the interior and exterior clamors to reach the perception of my own mystery and identity.

And, secondly, going beyond that forest of images and concepts about God to stay with God himself, that is pure and true science, it is the total purity of Faith.

An example: this beautiful melody awakens in me, I don’t know why, the living mystery of my God. Well then, if at a certain moment all my soul were left concentratedly captivated and captivated by my God, the music has already disappeared. The music did not disappear; it still sounds the same, but I’m no longer with the music, I’m with you.

Music can evoke God for me, but once the evoked appears, the evocation disappears. Conclusion, God himself is beyond, is >>>something else<<< Than the evocations that makes him present to us.

Another example. One fine day we look out over a splendid landscape, and when contemplating so much vitality, so much variety of colors, all that splendor evokes the eternal fountain of beauty: the Lord. But if I at a certain moment, my last instance and in pure faith, being completely Lost and found in God, to Alone with him; the rivers, the mountains and the perfumes have already disappeared. In truth nothing has disapeared, my eyes are still seeing the horizons, my skin feeling the breze, and the scent of the perfumes. My senses, yes; but not me; nothing: my eyes are seeing the horizons, my skin feeling the breeze, and the smell, the perfumes. My senses, yes; but not me; I’m with you; for me, in this world at this moment, nothing exists, only you.

When the awakened one becomes present, the alarm clocks disappear. That is to say, God himself, alive and true, is <<something else>> than the images with which we clothe him, the words with which we express him or the creatures that evoke him for us.

How to reach the true God, stay with himself, God himself in his simple and total essence? Here’s the question.

To worship him in spirit and in truth, we need to strip God of all the clothing that, if not false, is at least imperfect and ambiguous, since the highest thoughts and the most inspired expressions are pale shadows, washed-out figures in comparison with the that he really is.

We need to silence the God of our concepts to stay with the God of faith.

Leaning on creation to adore can be an effective way to pray for some. But in the garden or in the field, 1000 reflections distract, the senses are entertained and the soul is satisfied with small details of God.

But in pure faith and in naked nature, in the silence and solitude of the heart, the presence of flows with absolute light.
