With so much joy in their hearts, the Asia Zone Team shares the Sent Forth of four new Guides in september 2018. The Sending Forth mass was officiated by Monsignor Joselito Asis, a PLW Guide and the Filipino chaplain of all the Pilipino communities in Melbourne. The mass was held at the Holy Family Parish Church in Melbourne. The Zone Secretary couple, Derrick and Kath Lara, were on hand to represent Zone Asia. Also on hand to witness the beautiful event were most of the 20 Future Guides currently undergoing the School for Preparing Guides at different stages.
Praying that all of the 20 Future Guides will persevere, they should have a total 29 PLW Guides by end of 2019 all of which are Melbourne based.
The newly formed Local Coordination will by headed by Eldred and Celine Rivera.
