From July 10 to 12, 2026, the 9th Annual Retreat for Guides -named “The Gospel Profile of Authority”- was held at the Eusebia Palomino Inn (Salesian Sisters’ Retreat House) in Chapada dos Guimaraes, Mato Grosso, Brazil. The retreat was facilitated by Lydia Maria Parente dos Santos, with María Tereza do Couto serving as the retreat coordinator.
The event was organized by the Cuiaba Local Coordination team and was attended by 33 Guides from the Local Coordinations of Campo Grande, Tangara da Serra, and Varzea Grande, as well as the two Local Coordinations of Cuiaba. All these Local Coordinations are part of the West 7 National Coordination, which in turn is part of the West Brazil Zone.
We praise and thank God the Father for this blessed retreat, which concluded with a beautiful Mass celebrated by Father Eduardo da Silva Queiroz, who is also a Guide.
