The Retreat for Guides titled “Inner Liberation” based on the book From Suffering to Peace by Father Ignacio Larrañaga, was held on October 17, 18, and 19, 2025.
This Retreat took place at the Casas Pias in Pindamonhangaba, São Paulo state. 41 Guides participated in the Retreat: 27 women and 14 men.
The Animating Guide who led the Retreat was Cecília Braconnot, and the Coordinator was Dagmar Fialho C. Collus. The organization of the Retreat was managed by the Local Coordination of Cruzeiro, São Paulo state.
This Coordination is part of the NBO 10 National Coordination, which in turn belongs to the West Brazil Zonal Coordination.
Silence was observed throughout all days of the Retreat, in all environments: lecture hall, dining room, chapel, etc. The Franciscan priest, Friar Eugenio Milani, presided over the Eucharist. The Guides returned to their homes encouraged and with their hearts full of the presence of God.
