A new Annual Retreat for Guides was held from September 5-7, 2025, led by our beloved elder sister, Animating Guide Maristella Carvalho, who, as always, shared great strength and wisdom. We also had the active cooperation of Animating Guide Ricardo Bonfim, and the entire retreat was coordinated by Guide Malvina das Graças B.M. Rezende.
This was a special retreat organized by former National Coordinators. In addition to a fraternal meeting the day before, they conducted the entire retreat united in Jesus and bonded in a single spirit of fraternity.
The retreat took place at the Casa Pia Conego Tobias in Pindamonhangaba, São Paulo, Brazil. Forty-eight Guides from different coordinations and various Brazilian states were in attendance.
The peaceful location, beautiful scenery, and the care and affection evident in every detail, along with Maristella’s maternal tenderness, allowed all participants to experience silence, meditation, prayer, and a profound intimacy with God. Once again, the Guides left renewed in the Love and commitment they have made to the Lord Jesus through the Prayer and Life Workshops.
