On May 17, 2025, a one-day retreat, “Mary, Model of Faith,” was held for the general public at the Saint Anthony Parish – Boa Vista, a parish of the Dominican Fathers, in Curitiba, Paraná State, Brazil. 60 people participated, 8 of them Guides.
This retreat, taught by Guide Vanda Hansen, who belongs to the Curitiba 5 Local Coordination, part of the Brazil West 13 National Coordination, of the Brazil West Zone, aimed to evangelize, promote Prayer and Life Workshops, and mark the PLW presence at the Parish’s 70th anniversary celebrations.
Everyone left deeply impressed with the Retreat, saying it was wonderful in every detail and heartily grateful for the excellent teaching delivered clearly by Vanda Hansen, who brilliantly guided the topics.
It was a blessed Saturday. May Mary, our Little Mother, protect us always, and may we have more retreats to captivate hearts for God!
